Between Eating and Sleeping is part of an ongoing art project that explores public attitudes to work (paid and unpaid) and how free-time is valued by posing three questions: What did you want to be when you were growing up? What gets you out of bed in the morning? What would you do if you had a year off?
Toby Phips Lloyd is an artist, currently undertaking a practice based PhD in the Fine Art Department at Newcastle University. His research examines the temporalities of work, poverty and participation in the arts: exploring the Universal Basic Income as a means by which to give voice to citizenship.
Toby Lloyd will be present for a short Q&A session after the screening of his film.
