In her film, director Gabriele von Moers recounts her experience as a daughter, wife, mother and a teacher. Topics such as the old age of her mother and her retirement security, raising children as a single parent, and the 10 to 12-hour workday of her spouse are covered and it is shown where a basic income would be reasonable. Many experts on UBI and companions of the director contributed comments to the film. The documentary is the attempt to give a face to an advocate for the UBI.

Gabriele von Moers is 63 years old and lives in Munich together with her family. She is a biology and German teacher and together with her husband Stefan she has 4 grown up boys.
